VUE PRIVÉE presents DEMOCRATISING CHINA

Vue Privée [vp] is pleased to present “Democratising China”, an exhibition bringing together museum-quality, limited edition artworks by four leading Chinese contemporary artists: Feng Zhengjie, Guo Wei, Huang Yan, and Yang Qian.  This group of artists presents a rich and diverse mixture of aesthetic styles, yet they are bound together by their creative vision of China in the twenty-first century.

Feng Zhengjie’s Chinese Portrait Series uses 35 colour silkscreens, while the Guo Wei pieces use 25 colour silkscreens.  Yang Qian’s mixed media prints use the layering of silkscreens to recreate the 3-Dimensional perception of water droplets, while Huang Yan’s continuous ability to effortlessly move across a wide field of mediums always seems to surprise his audience.

The production of each of the artworks has been personally overseen by the artists themselves and is presented in a strictly limited edition of 200, signed and numbered by the artist.

The exhibition will take place from 3rd till 20th November at the [vp] space located at 20 Cairnhill Road, Singapore. Alternatively, these stunning prints will be available for viewing and purchase on-line at www.vueprivee.com.
