Lady Pink, originally from Equador, was one of the first female graffiti artists to hit the scene in New York in the late 70’s. In 1982 she had a starring role in the film Wild Style. That role and her other significant contributions to graffiti and street art have made her a cult figure in the hip-hop subculture.
