We return to the Somethingforyourears series this week with a fine selection from the south coast of England. Made in Brighton comes from the collection of Silvio Bukbardis, who has dejayed his way through most of the last few decades, told in this eclectic musical journey.

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” Oscar Wilde.

Silvio has been there and pretty much done it on the club/dance scene.
From Mod discos in the late seventies, psychedelic boat parties and warehouse rare groove jams in the early eighties right through to the early rumblings of house and techno via Clink Street & Shoom through the late eighties and early nineties.

All of these experiences led him to work with some of the great dance labels: Om records, Fresh records, Freskanova, Blue Room and Marine Parade. These along with various DJ assignments around the world have inspired and shaped the depth of musical knowledge that makes him up.

Lets hope we can hear more from him.
